Blessed are…

I freely received and I freely give. It should be my desired attitude. But sometimes when I give or help, I anticipate the recipient to show some kind of appreciation. When I have that expectation, I don’t really give or help freely because I want something in return, even if it is not something tangible.

When I went to a store one day, a mug caught my attention. I liked it but I went home without buying it. But the image of the mug did not go away. So I returned to the store to buy it. Now it is my morning coffee mug. I look at it, read the message on it, and internalize the meaning of the message. When I fully internalize the meaning of it, it will set me free when I give or help.
