Cocoons – Butterfly
Daily Prompt: Transformation
- Watercolor painted by Miriam Hurdle
Sad Lonely Hurt Discouraged Loss Empty Trapped angry Where are you, Lord? I'm everywhere, I'm here with you. Help me, Lord! I'm all powerful. Here's my help. It's so dark. I can't see. Here's my hand. Follow my lead. I can't move. I'm weak. I'm all mighty. I can carry you. I feel something...... I know. I see a dim light! Yes. I'm coming out! That's right. I'm different! It's transformation! I see. I'm beautiful. I made you!
This is beautiful…both the painting and the poem:)

I love this. I needed this. My son has disappeared and I feel so helpless right now.

I have a friend whose daughter ran away for two years. Two years is a long time when you feel helpless about your most loved one. She came back and now has a family. The prodigal son came back!! Pray for you son to come to senses and show up again.

This is fabulous! Through every trial, and from glory to glory, He does transform us–just as He promised!

Hard to remember when I look in the mirror…so I don’t do it often 🙂 Best to look into His face and catch the reflection of light on my countenance.

You’ll be a butterfly! You like my painting also? I just started to learn a year ago. I talked about that in this post: https://theshowersofblessing.wordpress.com/2016/08/03/i-am-astonished-with-delight/

Cool deal! I’ve tried hitting the like button on it, but my screen keeps turning white. I think my phone’s being problematic. I am going to try to see if there might be a different way to view it so that I’m able to press it and it work.

I only use my laptop to do my blog. The screen on the phone is limited.

And a lot of tears and wounds came with them, but it’s a journey, you’re just passing through that part of journey. Keep moving and you’ll come through it.
