Beautiful right, and lovely tribute to your parents. Sometimes things happen for a reason in the strangest of ways. What’s mean to be, will be. I am sure your parents are watching over you and the rest of the world now. Wishing you a good week 🙂
I was so happy when they became Christians. My dad sent me their baptism pictures. I cried. My siblings and I prayed for them for 20 years before they became Christians.
Just as I reckoned. An ode. A remembrance. In a world where not everyone thinks of their parents in such a fond way, you still see yours with eyes filled with love, longing, and with hopeful assurance of sweet peace!
Of course we should not forget them. But hopefully the pain of loss eases with time and we can be happier when we remember all the good things about them.
It’s so hard losing ones parents. I miss mine so much after decades. I so wish they could see their grandchildren and great grandchildren. That’s why a care so much for mine.
Yes, I know. My son-in-law’s mom passed away last year. My daughter was sad that she didn’t live to see the grandchildren. They will start a family next year, hoping that their kids get to know us as grandparents!!

You are stronger than I, to loose them both to such awful diseases is so unkind. 😇

Yes, I inherit my mom’s patient, I am influenced by my dad’s love of learning, exercising, and gardening. When I am me, I remember them! 🙂

So sad and so beautiful. We never truly get over losing our parents but at least they’re in heaven together. Lovely post.
