Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. I find the stories of these three women who went on to achieve great things in spite of their limitations inspiring. You can be anything no matter your life’s or birth limitations. I am also encouraged to help other women become just like Helen Keller’s teacher did even though she was deaf/blind. Thanks Mariah Hurdle for sharing this beautiful post.

I read Helen Keller in elementary school. She gave me such inspiration and encouragement. I wouldn’t be who I am today without having some significant heroes and heroines who motivate me.
