Weekly Photo Challenge – New Horizon
There is a story about a little boy who lived in a village. One day he climbed the tree all the way to the top. To his surprise, he saw the ocean and could see all the way to the horizon. What a sight that changed his life!
Our mental ability is powerful beyond our imagination. As we gain new knowledge and insight, it brings us to a whole new horizon of the outlook of life.
When we traveled to different countries, we looked out to the ocean, new horizon came into sight.
Alaska
San Clemente and Newport Beach, California
Maui, Hawaii
Key West, Florida
Port Douglas and Bandi Beach, Australia

Oh, that one! I had to chase the sunset to get the photo taken. We stayed at the water font, I ran across the street, tried to find a stop with less people, but the sun was going down fast. Thanks for the follow. I’m coming over to your blog. I’m scanning my computer right now, may have to shut down and restart. See you. 🙂 🙂

Thank you for your comment! Yes…you have to move quickly to get a good photo at Key West! Such an eclectic place…sometimes we have stayed a little closer in…at Islamorada near Key Largo. We still like the many activities in Key West!

We stayed at Key West the whole trip. When we travel, we’d be gone 10-11 the most for international. For domestic travel would be 1 or 2 days less. We drove up and down the different Keys though. Did you post some travel photos?

Hi Ruth, thank you for your comment. When we travel, we tends to go aboard. Now that my husband is retired (early), we may go domestic more often. I think I only have been to 20+ states. Is it cold in Pittsburgh right now?

One day it’s 6 degrees, then 30 and fluctuates to forty then back down to the twenties. Lots of ice and then flood warnings right now. Unpredictable but gray and cold. Best to you and your husband as you find new travel adventures. If you’re coming to Pittsburgh I’d wait until Spring!

It’s up and down here also, but not too drastic. Good advice. We’ll wait. We have a couple home projects for him to do first. 🙂 🙂

Thank you, I love ocean, especially when the sky is clear blue, and I love sunset!

I liked the storms also. I suicide boarded three California Winter storm seasons. Nothing as cool as dancing with the sea.

One year we went to Toronto and went to Niagara Fall on Canada side. I think that year Michigan had 24 inches of snow.

Here in Detroit. Not so much snow. Just very cold. Toronto Winter similar to Detroit.

Thank you! I don’t know why I didn’t have a sunset picture in Australia. If we go next time, that would be something I have to remember doing.
