These are very beautifully made stained glass! Cannot imagine how challenging it must had been to make it to fit the exact gaps in the cathedral windows!
I understand that some cathedrals took tens of years to build, stained glass windows and sculptures would take lots of time to do! Hope you’re resting, have a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate!
Indeed, the craftsmen must had taken such dedication. Some are said to have passed through generations to complete the work!
Well we are back home now and eating local cuisine. Enough of the oily Chinese food!
WE were in Beijing. The first day was on our own, no tour guide. We went to eat. I didn’t understand their accent. So we tried to communicate in writing. I couldn’t read simplified Chinese because I grew up in traditional Chinese. Finally I just pointed at the pictures on the menu. One dish looked like green beans, but it was a whole plate of spicy chili! The northern food is different than the southern food I used to have!!
I fell in love with this ❤
