Daily Prompt – Tempted, Sweet Tooth
I don’t have a sweet tooth. I can’t even have sweet at night because it keeps me awake. Usually I give all of the desserts to my husband. The only occasion that I have a hard time is party time! I am so tempted by the presentation of the desserts. As I approached the dessert table, I grabbed a plate, inching my steps toward the table. I said to myself, “I’ll just sample them. Just take a little bite of each.” Pretty soon, I had the whole plate (small plate though) of desserts. Guess what? I couldn’t sleep all night! Oh well, it only happens a few times a year!

You have to sit by this table for a whole week. Imagine the size of your stomach if they all go in at the same time!!!!!!

That is ‘sweet’ temptation, definitely worth losing some sleep 😉

Yes, I did it knowingly and I don’t get upset waking up most of the night because they were delicious!

I especially like the cheesecake with blueberries and any other berries toppings! Since sweet keeps me awake, sometimes I have dessert after breakfast or lunch to get the satisfaction…hehe…

I love cheesecake. I haven’t had any since I’ve more or less given up dairy, though. 😦 I went to cheesecake factory about a month ago and didn’t get any. What’s the world coming to!?!

That’s okay. During Christmas, my daughter and son-in-law made pizza and chocolate chip cookies from scratch, my husband and I helped, it was so much fun. But I realized 3/4 of the cookies are sugar! Cheese is saturated fat, I ask my husband not to eat too much because he is not burning it off fast enough!!

Would be impossible to resist that!

I love dim sum. I haven’t had that for more than a year. Now that you mentioned it, I have to get my husband to go with me… hehe…

I do have a sweet tooth, but it’s not sugar that keeps me awake. I wonder what it is. Anyway I hope you at least enjoyed the desserts.

I loved this post. I can truly identify with it we’ve all been there. It is interesting how we do things and even though we know the consequences, we can’t stop ourselves.

I used to have a terrible sweet tooth. Now not so much. Flavor is my craving now, savory, salty, sour, etc.

Those are better than sweet. My husband is pre-diabetic. He said magazine said sweet is bad for diabetes, so he is cutting back on sweet stuff.
