Cee’s Which Way Challenge – Cape Tribulation
We traveled to Australia. First we went to Sydney, then flew to Caine where my husband went diving in Great Barrier Reef. After that we drove north with a small rental car the size of a Mini Cooper. Port Douglas was a nice town to stop by. Then we went on to Cape Tribulation where the rainforest begins. The first rainforest we had ever come so close to, but there was a big street bump with a sign says, “Four Wheel Drive Beyond This Point.” Well, so much for our interest!
Great pix. I hope to visit Australia someday and New Zealand. Such a beautiful world we live in!

Yes, if we go back to Australia, we’ll also go to New Zealand. My siblings and families did. They went to the movie site where The Lord of the Ring filmed.

We went to 3 islands in Hawaii for our honeymoon and that was the most exotic I’ve been to. I hope to do a lot of travelling in retirement and with our boys.

We went to Maui 4 times. My husband said the other island are too commercialized. We traveled during the last 17 years because he has flexible time with his business and my admin job has all together, 32 days a year vacation days. So we started going places. Now we both are retired, we can do more short trips in between. We’ll still just do one major trip a year.

That’s a good picture of the speed hump – ie little blobs of rock on the road.
