Daily Prompt: Devastation
Treasure your dependence, when
Enjoy the security under
The wings of your parents; or
Delight in a different role, with
The loving provision of your spouse.
Keep your skills sharpened,
Your networking current.
Rainy days may come untimely, in
Least expected moments.
Ready to stand on your feet, to
Avoid devastation!
Daily Prompt: Devastation
A beautiful poem that fills any expectation of who wants to fill with love with poetry.

I reblogged it, the yellow doesn’t show on my white background. But that’s okay. Thank you.

A haiku – senryu comment inspired by your heartfelt poem, thank you.
happy it is am not
hark hear nature speaking
begging man for peace
—
the power play
a poem full of wisdom
the facts of life
—
its true what is said
it truly hurts to be bold
tell your stories
—
devastation woe
families running from homes
humans lost the plot
—
your poem helped me
now i understand reasons
why dad held my hand
—
nature losing hope
devastation all around
the world is dying
—
look out your window
it is there for all to see
devastations real
—
remember your life
goodwill and empathy
pass on your knowledge

Always take care,
Mick

Very nice. I’m impressed with your Haiku! Have you posted it yet? Do you know Chinese or Japanese. I saw soe=me Chinese words. Lake Life – ( 湖 生活 )

Yep done and dusted, thanks.
No, nether, I used the Bing translator for Japanese, all can think is it must be the same as Chinese, so I am led to believe. If you have seen the new image I have put up. You will see my signature, which is also meant to be Japanese, any chance you could have a look at that please.

It must be Japanese, if I read it as Chinese, translate it back to English would be “Lake Life.”

I loved the way you weaved being “protected” into a possible future time when you can be ready and prepared for potential devastation. Very nicely done.

Thank you, both for kids and spouses, could be seen as negative, for spouses, some don’t thank of “what if.” Lots of reflection on that!
