Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Look Down at Things
Lantau Peak is the second highest summit in Hong Kong. It is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The climb takes around two hours. Many people spend a night at a hotel in Ngong Ping and set off about 4:00 a.m. to catch the 6:00 a.m. sunrise from its peak. When we were in Hong Kong, we took the cable car to ride to the peak. The hiking trails below can be clearly seen from the cable car.
Oh that must have been fun to ride. Wonderful photos and adventure. š

Amazing photo documentation and great photos, all of em’. Was exactly here in the 90’s before the hand over, that time Lantau was accessible via ferries only and Lantau was about condominiums and villages only. Managed to look at the construction of Kai Tak in the late 90’s from the hills…look at the transformation now, thank you for the lovely pics, need to be here again, soon! Cheers..Lan

I like to hike, but those paths with so many steps look treacherous! I think I would opt for the cable car too, although my husband is very afraid of heights! I hope we will go to Hong Kong and China some day.

The tour price in China is very reasonable. Hong Kong is getting expensive though!

Wow, what a view! š Was it a bit scary on the ride (I’m scared of heights) or just exhilarating?

I’m scared of height also, but this one seemed to be safe. Once you’re in, it’s locked!
