Weekly Photo Challenge – Atop of Eiffel Tower
One of the cities we toured during our Europe trip is Paris. We went to the top deck of the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is 324 meters (1,063 feet) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level’s upper platform is 276 meters (906 feet) above the ground – the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union. The observation deck provides 360o view of Paris.
We took the steps from the ground level to the second floor, 300 steps for each level, 600 steps total to the second floor. We then took the lift to the top deck. These are some of the photos taken atop of the Tower.

Yes, it’s amazing. People could put coins and use the telescopes. I got a good camera, so just look through my camera. Thank you for the comment!

That was a cloudy day. I got some distant photos, didn’t turn out to well. Somehow that one was good. Thank you very much!

It’s hard to get a good photo of a famous monument sometimes, I think. Maybe that’s one reason I really liked your shot from the ground up toward the steel legs of the Tower.

Yes, it turned out well, no obstruction, no tours in the way….

Oh this is beautiful! We enjoyed the views from the top too! And it has this romantic feeling (at least for us) when we looked over the panorama.

Very nice. Hope you didn’t spend too long in the queue. Too bad they had to put the Montparnasse tower right behind the Invalides.

We were in a tour. The tour guide bought the tickets in advance!! I saw the queue!

Fantastic photos Miriam. We did not make it to the top, unfortunately, however there were great views from level two. A great experience I would suggest.

That too, especially at winter end, beginning of spring, have many things to do for a nice summer garden. The summer is long.
