We came from California to Oregon to visit our daughter today. I took the photos at the airport in Ontario, California. We landed safely, and took the Portland Max Train to our daughter’s home. It has been raining off and on since we arrived.
1) Ontario CA airport escalator 2) airport access to planes 3) Portland airport hallway 4) Portland MAX train station 5) Home entry and steps
Thank you! It’s kind of let my bloggers friend know that I’m away so they won’t be disappointed when I don’t respond or not posting everyday. Your challenge gave me a perfect chance to say that. Thank you!
Hi Miriam, just browsing through you lovely posts, as it’s Sunday and I have more time, I was struck by the fabulous colours in your photography!
I take all my photos on my telephone, but I have a feeling you must have a real camera?
Regards. Marie.
Hi Marie, yes I use a camera. It’s Cannon. I broke my previous one with 30x zoom, sent for repair. They didn’t have the same model, and replaced it with a 70x zoom camera. I could really zoom in and still get clear view. If you see any of my Mt. St, Helen posts. I could zoom in to the top of the mountain and see the smoke!!! I take photos with my phone also, but I just have a basic smart phone, photo quality is not as good as my daughter’s latest version!!! Thank you for your comment! Miriam
Yes, if a basic camera take good picture in one mile, my camera can take good pictures in 70 miles. That’s an example. It’s not too expensive. For Christmas gift, that would be a good one!!!
Our oldest lives in D.C. One of the metro stations has an escalator that is over 250 feet up. I stepped on without thinking about it and half way up I looked up and started to panic! Many deep breaths and a lot of praying and finally we made it to the top! That is the THE slowest escalator I have ever been on!
I just love the way the colors in your photos tell an untold story. They make your photos more captivating.

Wow! 250 feet up is pretty high. I’m afraid of height, so I’d be scared too!
