My trees definitely tell me that Spring is here. The Eucalyptus tree had a haircut in the winter, the leaves slowly start to come back. the rose bud next to the tree shows her spring pink cheeks. The maple tree is busy branching out and burst out the tender young green leaves. The orange tree is doing super well after the winter rain. It produced several hundreds of second crop of juicy Valencia oranges.

The rain helped. The summer crop is drier, but we get the same number in both crops. Thank you. Wish could squeeze a glass for you!

Yes, the skin is so thin and they are so juicy. I hope we keep up with the watering and get the same for the summer crop! Come by and have a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice!!

It is late here but I am suddenly thirsting for juicy oranges. I am virtually slurping on that glass, Miriam. Tomorrow I shall pick up a pound from the farmer’s market and squeeze myself tangy, fresh pulpy juice. Cannot wait! xx

Those are lovely, the only thing I miss about living in Spain is seeing the lemon and orange groves. 🙂

Oh, where in Spain do they have them? We live in Orange County. That means we had a lot of orange groves before. During the last 25 years, I saw one grove after another was replaced with buildings!!
