Hi, My name is Carly. I am currently living in Spain. I am originally from a small seaside town in Yorkshire called Bridlington, and have also lived in China and Thailand. I am an Early Years primary school teacher for nearly 12 years.
This year I experienced sudden sensorineural hearing loss in my left ear. I have started this blog as a way to inform my friends and family about my progress,

Here are 7 facts about me…
- I love Thai food, especially the green papaya salad known as Som Tum: with “som” meaning “sour” and “tum” referring to the pounding sound of the large pestle used to crush ingredients. I like it spicy and with lots of lime and garlic, and served with sticky rice.
- Next week I am traveling to England to spend a few days with my sister and her boyfriend. I am so excited to see them both!
