My husband and I started work out at the gym together since November, 2016. We have been keeping up. When we use the weight resistant machines, he sets the height of the bench and the desired weight for him. On most of the machines, he lifts, pushes, or pulls 200 pounds. I only do 20 to 30 pounds with most of the machines, and have the bench a lot higher because I am short. Well, I’m not really doing muscle building. It’s just exercise for me.
We take turns to do two sets of 16 counts on each machine. After his set, he adjusts the height of the bench and weight for me. Anyway, this morning, he forgot to do the adjustment on one machine. I tried to push with both arms, but it didn’t make a move. I looked up at him and chuckled. He stared at me for a couple seconds, and got it.
Well done on your gyming. My husband and I used to gym together but now it is not practical as one of us needs to be at home to make sure the boys don’t kill each other.
When I go alone, I work mostly my lower body especially my legs since I have lymphedema (swelling). After my husband retired, he wanted me to work out with him lifting weight. I run and jump around in between my sets!
I also work out my legs too because it’s my problem area and where I feel I gain the weight. Have you tried taking Natural Calm Magnesium drink for your lymphedema? Magnesium is supposed to help with that. 😊
I think it’s a play on words. But the calcium drink is amazing. It calms you down before bed and it also regulates you and acts like a detox agent in your body. When I took it when I was pregnant I never ever experienced swelling or having any problems going with going to the restroom. Magnesium – especially this drink is amazing!
😀 I get excited and ready to comment when someone says the gym 😀
Work them muscles. Feel the burn 😀
Yes, nonverbal communication is more vital than verbal communication because nonverbal communication express your true emotions in my mind.
Keep working out 😀 Get them muscles even more tone
I lift more than my husband, as I have been doing it for several years. I often set it for him as he has so many chronic illnesses, he can only do light weights. So it’s the opposite for us 🙂

Oh, how old are they? I hope you can do something else with your husband without your kids sometimes. That would be fun for you!

Glad you found it. The Rasberry lemon flavor is the best. ❤️ Amazon is great, I don’t know what I would do without Amazon. 😊

That’s understandable! Life is an ongoing give and take, doesn’t matter who does want first and when. As long as you have each other!
