Cee’s Share Your World – June 26, 2017
Cee’s questions for this week and my answers:
-
What goal are you working on now?
My goal for this year is to get my house organized to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. You may think that Thanksgiving is five months away. Well, I have to be mentally prepared for it. We may take a short trip next month. Then, I’ll spend a couple months with Mercy before and after the baby is born.
As far as my energy, I can only do a little bit of cleaning and organizing each day. Last time when I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner, it took me two months to prepare. There were twenty-two people came to dinner. This year may have more people coming. Mercy and Will are coming with their new baby! ♥♥♥

What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
I’m glad that I tried to learn riding bicycle. Learn to ride bicycle as adult is not the same as learning as kids. After I fell several times, I decided to quit.

Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?
I was Director of Children’s Department in an organization in Hong Kong when I was twenty-six years old. Coming to U.S. as a student, I pretty much started my career all over again. I was glad to get into teaching in public school after graduation. My career goal was still in administration. After fourteen years of teaching, I was promoted to be district administrator. I did that for ten years before I retired. Yes, I enjoyed my educational profession as a teacher as well as administrator.

I’m happy you’re getting time with your daughter and the baby, after it is born. Kudos!

Yes, Teresa! I’ll have a good time helping out with the housework and being with the baby!

It will be so appreciated, I know! When my son’s daughter was born in 2011, I stayed with them for about a week, and I did tons of laundry and household errands. He really appreciated it and it helped them a lot.

That was so nice of the cop to help you out. When I lived in Southern California and had a tire blow out on the 101 closer to LA than not. Two Highway Patrol Cops changed my tire. 😀

Thank you, Elaine! Have you decided whether to do a mural! Do a small piece, then extend it more and more….
