Cee’s Share Your World – August 7, 2017
Cee’s Share Your World – this week’s questions and my answers:
-
What was the last URL that you bookmarked or saved?
I signed up to take the Intermediate Customization course from Blogging University, WordPress. I didn’t learn anything that I’m not doing. But for inserting images, they recommend https://unsplash.com. That was the last URL I bookmarked. There are a lot of nice photos on this site. Here is an example:

Do you believe in the afterlife? Reincarnation?
I believe there is life after life. When I leave behind the gate of this world, I enter the gate that leads me to a better world where there is no more tear from my eyes, no more death, no mourning, no crying or pain. I will meet my loved ones who have gone before me.
-
If you were or are a writer, do you prefer writing short stories, poems or novels?
I write many things. In the storage of my brain, there are short stories, poems, and novels. Currently, on this blog, I have been writing mostly short stories and poems.

What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I didn’t know there was a blogging university! I’ve looked at unsplash before but perhaps I need to explore it further. That is a lovely photo!

Once I sign up, they send me lessons every day. I just save all of them.

I signed up for the poetry, but I didn’t quite follow. I still have the lessons to do them later!

I need to get started on the university. I’ve been blogging for well over a year but I haven’t learned all I should have by now.

Take the intermediate customization course. At least you know if you are using everything available for blogging.

I really appreciate your help, Miriam! I’d love to grow my blog but I get a little overwhelmed looking things up online. They university sounds perfect for me!

Yes, they give you the link for all the lessons, but only ask you to do 3 or 4 things a day. When you click the link for the assignment, it takes you right there, it also has examples from “print screen.” It’s very helpful!

This is dumb but how do they send the assignments?

No. I meant how do you get the assignments from the university.

They send it to your email. For Customization, they send it once that has all the assignment, but divide up in 10 days. All 10 days will be on one email. You do it one day at a time. Here is the assignments, if you don’t sign up, save the link on your browser. https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/intermediate-customization-materials/

‘You can’t live a positive life with a negative mind.’ That is the way to go about the journey of life, Miriam. Wise words. I hope that you are done and dusted with the painting job…xx

I’m done with the painting that I helped. My husband continues to do painting around the house that doesn’t need my help – like climb on the roof to paint the eaves…Thank you. 🙂

You’re welcome. It will link you to different photographers who want to share their photos. I don’t quite like the photos that have watermark on them. I prefer giving credit to photographers.
