Tuesday Photo Challenge – Alley
This week Frank’s theme is “Alley” inspired by the architecture in Tuscany, Itlay
I’m also impressed by the architecture of the allies we saw in Spain. Perhaps this architecture style is common in Europe. In this post, I include two photos from Toledo and a couple more from Granada. The allies in Granada is the tourist shopping paradise. We have to follow the tour guide closely, so I didn’t have time to get anything at this stop. I did get some souvenir from another shopping stop.

Toledo Spain – The alley is wide enough for one person going in each way. The people living in those building seem to be able to talk across the alley.

Toledo Spain – This alley reminds me of one of the scenes from Harry Potter

Granada Spain – the alley is tourist’ shopping paradise

Granada Spain – The tour guide is waiting. No time for shopping

I hadn’t thought about people talking across an alley, but that seems to be something one could do with narrow alleys–or build a walk way across as I’ve seen in some photos.

You’re welcome. Many of our alleys here are not as clean and artistic!

Really scenic and the alleys so tight

They are not for cars or big crowd. Maybe that’s the way they want, just enough to go from one end to another!

Aah pedestrian traffic or footfall traffic – this is good as it can cut across buildings rather quickly and safely too, away from traffic. Though these days with E scooters, E bikes etc they pose new risks to pedestrians!

That’s true. On a little bit wider alley in Spain, big enough for one lane car, the car was moving, my husband had to pull me against the wall in order not to get hit.

These passages are very reminiscent of Harry Potter, Miriam. Lots of fun to explore.

Yes, especially the scene where Harry got transported to a spooky town!
