Wonderful Baby Shower
Mercy had a fun Baby Shower on Saturday. Many friends came from near and far. The hostess was very creative in decorating her house for the party. There were several activities such as filling out a “Guessing” card, guess the gender, the weight, height, eye color of the baby. Another activity was filling out an “I Wish” card addressing to the baby of the thing they wish the baby will be or will do. After eating, Mercy opened the gifts. The person who gave the gift also gave her some advice or insight of being a mom. As part of the support, the hostess had the ladies sign up a “Meal Train” to bring meals to Mercy and Will after the baby is born. It was a successful party full of surprises and laughter.

Yes, it’s a big support group. They do that to each other! Several ladies have babies just a few weeks or a few months apart. Many baby showers this years!

Yes, we had so much fun. One person “guess” 16 hours of labor, than crossed out the 1 and made it 6. 🙂

Yes, my daughter has a group of close friends and quite a few having babies this year! They go to each others party. A lot of celebration of welcoming new babies.

So far there are 5 boys and 1 girl. Friends wish my daughter is having a girl and another friend will have the baby soon also and they wish her having a girl also to balance out when the kids play together!!!

Oh, good for you! Where did you go? we haven’t taken our vacation yet. We may take it early in December. Now we are waiting for the birth of the grandbaby.

This time I went to my country after 4+ years of gap. And specially to my in laws place which is Northern part of Pakistan. So the coming loads of post are from that part of our side. Full lush green mountains and awesome weather.
I can imagine the excitement at all of your level. Pray that everything goes smoothly. Glad to see that you are besides her.

Yes, they did get creative. I’m glad for the “Meal Train” also because I’ll spend a couple months helping them. Having meals several times a week means that I don’t have to do cooking every day! 🙂
