Thank you, Meenakshi! My husband’s stories. He broke his finfure during a basketball tournament. He Didn’t want to take time off for treatment. When the basketball season was over, the finger couldn’t be fixed.
A very evocative tanka Miriam. Brought back a lot of post-war memories, mostly sad, but some happy ones.
Belated congratulations on becoming a Grandmother. You and yours take care, and may the coming week be full of good surprise… Mick

spring see baby walk
Thank you so much, Mick! I look so much forward to spring when the baby can walk.
I know many veterans have sad stories. When I was a rehabilitation counselor, I had one patient who suffered PTSD, He said every time he closed his eyes, he could he his friend dead next to him…! Hope you’re doing okay!!
Mmm, thought I had replied, never mind. Yeah I am as fine as I can be, taking life as it is Miriam, Don’t wish your life away, but I know what you, it be nice to see the first step, capturing it on video, not something we had in my day, lucky you. Best to you and your kin… Mick
No, I only referring to babe taking her first steps and fact it was not possible for us to do that, normal pics, but vido, no. I think we could still buy vinyl records in those day.
Thank you, Elsie. I bought a new laptop. The old one has a crack all the way vertically anyway. The hinches are off, can’t open and close without cracking further. May not have it fixed at this point. Have a nice weekend!😊

Thank you, Mick. They will use the video camera but not just yet. They still have a few things to work out, such as feeding!
