From ashes and dust of earth
Beautifully and wonderfully we are made
Eyes to see the majestic sky, mountains, and sea
Ear to hear His voice and harmonious sounds of music
Nose to smell fragrance of flowers and scents of trees
Mouth to sing praises and speak of peace
Hands to serve and extend the healing touch
Heart to feel acceptance, compassion, and love
Feet to trot spreading the good news
Walking the path that is less traveled
Faithfully and gratefully we roam
Till the day He calls us home
this is so nice….
and just FYI – I am going to invite you to join in on the #day quote challenge – no pressure to accept – but if I don’t let you know, you might not notice the invite. It is from karen (book blogger) and the only rules are to post 3 quotes for 3 days (not even right in a row) and then invite other bloggers to join (or all of your followers generically)
– my post will be up later – but no pressure…
God I completely love this, Miriam! Your poem is so happy and full of love and compassion. THANK YOU for contributing it for Forgiving Fridays. It is perfect.
I spent a lot of time in my doctoral program in spiritual science with a focus on living in my heart and how I would know that. This speaks volumes to me.
Blessings to you in all ways, Miriam. I’m honored to contribute this sharing for Forgiving Fridays this week! ❤
Love you, Debbie
