Thank you so much for your cheering, the good wishes, and the encouraging comments. I’m happy to give you the update that I’m on target. I have written 10,520 in 6 days. I still have 39,480 words to finish by the end of the month.
How did you go!? I was going to do it but you know how it is, it got to the crunch and I didn’t have enough time, at least that’s my excuse. How did you find it?
Thank you for asking. The first half went okay, the 2nd half had a lot of confusion. Need too much editing. I bought their book of 30 days writing. I’ll do it again in a better month without holiday pressure. You may want to try that!☺
Thank you, Wendy! I’m having a writer’s block right now. Just talked to my husband (I’m in Portland helping to take care of my new granddaughter, so I call my husband every night), he said, skip that and move on, come back to that point later. Ha, should have done that many times…
He’s right (write…haha) Yep skip it and move on… great advice! How lovely that you’re able to spend some wonderful moments with your new granddaughter – these are times that are precious and pass so quickly! Enjoy every moment xx
Oh golly, I’m guessing you’re home now.. that must have been a very difficult leaving cuddle and now you’ve got thanksgiving to look forward to.. it’s not too far off thank goodness. x
There is plenty of time to catch up! 🙂 Wow, you were busy! (I had a busy day today too, and am now behind as well…)
The only thing you have to show is the amount of words you wrote by pasting your novel into a text box, and then it counts the words to verify that it is that many words. 🙂 (My 87,000 word novel wasn’t finished, but it passed because I was over 50,000 words. XD)
I’m hosting Thanksgiving dinner. Wanted to do some decoration, but by the time I came back from Portland last Saturday. No stores had any more fall decoration, so I decided to do Christmas decoration. Worked all day, cleaned up, set up my Christmas village, hanging lights outside. I haven’t written too many words yet.
Miriam – YOU CAN DO IT!! Take small breaks (Breathe, drink some Tea, look at your grandchildren pictures, WRITE, WRITE, WRITE! Don’t worry about praying….I am doing that for you. You almost got it. Keep going!!!!

Yes, now I’m behind. Just came home last night and I’m busy today. Came back from church, has a rehearsal for Messiah in the afternoon.
What if you got 50,000 words but the novel is not done? Do you need to show anything on the last day?

Haha, only 2AM that time. I wanted to reach 2K words in one day, but didn’t quite make it by midnight. XD
