This is the 4th day into the new year of 2018. It’s an open book. What memories do I want to fill into this book?
I do not know about tomorrow. I face each single day with my mind open to learn, my heart open to love and accept, and my hands open to give and receive.
With that mindset, I pray for growth as an individual, as husband and wife, as well as a family. I pray that my husband and I will grow deeper in loving and caring for each other, learn to be considerate and thoughtful parents and grandparents.
As for Mercy and Will, I pray that they grow in their love, respect and admiration to each other. Every day brings new learning and new joy as parents with their precious baby Autumn. Autumn is now 3 months and 1 week old. She found her fingers and loves to put them in her mouth. She is laughing, cooing, and grabbing objects with both hands. She would love to play board games as much as her parents and grandparents.
This new year will be a great growing time for all of us!
Thank you. We do forget sometimes and get upset easily. but we also learn to apologize to each other and overlook the differences. That’s our new learning these days,
What a beautiful post and such a very special time for you all. Enjoy all of these precious moments with your beautiful family and blessings to you all for a wonderful 2018. ❤️
I’m reading the book “The Angels Within Us” the 4th or 5th time in the last 22 years. I bought the book in 1995. Every time I underlined or wrote notes on the margins, I also dated.
It’s not so much about the angels that God created. It’s more about the “God-like” power and energy within us.
One idea that makes me think is that there is a chord, a tone within us. The chord is made of 3 notes – love, will, and understanding. When these 3 notes are in tune with each other, the notes become a harmonious chord. Otherwise, it produces dis-chord, and conflicting feelings.
My new year wishes are doing more reading, thinking and meditating.
I pray for the harmonious and peaceful chord in your heart that give you the calm energy!! xox
Thank you so much Miriam! I would love to read this book too. Who is the author?
I’m happy to know your new year wish. It is very inspiring for me too. May this year treat both of us with more ease and love.
The author is Randoph Price. He is also the author of The Superbeings. I read it with a filter lenses, because he applies the mythology and the 22 characters in mythology as the 22 angels within us. He calls the self as the God I Am. Let me know what you think of it if you get the book.
Oh Miriam, this is a beautiful post. What a demonstration of your open heart, of your caring, and your willingness to grow. Thank you for sharing this post for Forgiving Fridays!!! I am grateful to share this a little later today in my blog post. Light and blessings to all of your prayers for the New Year.
I love you,
Debbie
