The theme for Frank’s Photo Challenge is “Circle.”
We have traveled to different places and delighted to see the artistic designs of the garden, courtyard, street using circular green in grass areas or green bushes. They deserve my admiration for the creativity.
The first photo is the Prince-Bishops Residence which is a palace in Würzburg, Germany. The second and third photos are the garden in Getty Museum, Los Angles. The last photo is the view from the southeast on the top level of the Eiffel Tower, looking down the Champ de Mars (Field of Mars) which is a large public greenspace in Paris, France.
Thank you, Meenakshi! We may go somewhere again this year. Last year we stay around for my daughter’s pregnancy and child birth and care for the granddaughter. We may take a short trip. 🙂
Thank you, Robbie! We didn’t go anywhere last year because I wanted to be around during my daughter’s pregnancy and child birth. We may go somewhere this year, now that the baby is doing fine. We’ll see her every 4 to 6 weeks, and we still can go somewhere for 10 days or so.
I’m glad you like the photos.
Yours is the 2nd Tuesday Photo Challenge I’ve viewed today. The other was gorgeous circles of food and dessert, a celebration of Mum, and a ode to the circle of life. Yours is gorgeous in a more picturesque way, and certainly well captured in the frame of your creative lens. I especially love the green rapture of your images, and the way my eye was drawn into each landscape. My fondness for the oo-la-la of Paris came alive vividly, as I know the feel of that pavement well.
Oh, I only saw that green space from above. I love to walk on that pavement. I love the green that sooth my eyes. Thank you for reading my post and your comment.
I thought of the idea of circle of life or circle of friends, but I settled for my travel photos!
Have a nice weekend!
I couldn’t imagine living in Prince-Bishops Residence. I’d get lost hahaha. The Getty Museum gardens are wonderful. I have never seen them in person but your pictures make me want to see them :):) Thank you Miriam for sharing all these 🙂
Ohh…I love these Miriam!!

If this is how you “settle” definitely “settle” often. Your photos give passion a very nice gloss. Happy New Year Miriam!

nice take on circles – sometimes it takes some elevation to see the grandeur of some of these – eh?

Yes, I didn’t have the elevation to take the photo of Prince-Bishop Residence. I saw some good one on Google search!

Yes, Margaret, the Getty has a lot of interesting exhibits. We only had time to go to one. I don’t mind going back. 🙂

Thank you. I couldn’t find a better spot to take photos of the Prince-Bishop Residence. Probably helicopter is needed!
