I like this piece since the raven has been reflected as the wise helper. I didn’t get to read all of last weeks Carrot Ranch entries. I try to post a least one entry every week, though sometimes I do more. I like to combine prompts.
Welcome to Carrot Ranch. I’ll book mark your place. 🙂
How incredibly interesting!
Before I saw your Award Free Blog page, I nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award. I still wanted you to know you were thought of and appreciated! Me and God love you, Miriam!

Thank you so much. My husband is at the end of his flu? cold? I hope I won’t pick it up from him as I’m going to see my baby granddaughter next week… 🙂
Thank you, Gail! There must be quite a few people who are in the same situation. I went to get him some OTC cough med. The whole section was empty!! I only found a combo of day/night 4 oz each. I bought it anyway. I hope he’ll get better soon!
The raven has been portrayed as the ‘good Samaritan’ here who has come to the aid of the lost couple. I hope that leads them to the water.

Raven usually seen as bringing bad luck, but rave is described as good bird in the scripture.

A lovely uplifting piece of flash fiction about a raven, Miriam. It is nice to see something positive for this prompt.

Yes, I know. Raven is associated with bad luck and death. But somehow, as I looked it up, raven can be a positive bird!

Really nice, Miriam. I’m glad you made the raven the ‘good guy’ for once.

Haha, the raven didn’t know it was a good guy, we know that it would go after the dead deer, and give away some info…
