I enjoy doing a lot of things. I’m doing things that I couldn’t be doing when I was working such as taking poetry and choral classes. I love doing counseling to help people. There is one thing I can relax and enjoy without preparation. That is going to concerts, operas or ballets. We purchased season tickets for Broadway shows for three years. Later, we switched to getting season tickets for operas. We also saw seasonal ballet show such as Nutcracker, Swan Lake, or Sleeping Beauty.
I think among everything I’m doing, I’d rather be going to a musical show. Right now, I’m thinking of Swan Lake.
Love it! I’d Rather Be sitting in balcony seat watching Swan Lake. Next to ‘Cats’ and ‘The Nutcracker’ it has to be my next favourite. Thank you so much for sharing and for the reminder that there’s so many more things we can choose to do!
You’re welcome. I should do it more often. My husband is not into classical music and even Broadway shows, so I’m not going as much as I would like to, but managed to go to some!
nice take on the prompt – I have had seasons of soaking up the arts – and still include it in our lives now… but many years ago this was a bigger focus.
I’m not working anymore too Miriam. It’s actually my third day and I have to pinch myself to believe that I can actually be doing anything I please. Enjoy your time Miriam. Loved this post.
Good one, Miriam.

Haha, it would be my pleasure to have company. My hubby is not into classical music.
Are you still painting?😊

You’re welcome, Y. I still find time to do that, even though it was not my hubby’s interest. We join friends, so he does it as social.😄
