We planted some Date Palm Trees in our front yard fourteen years ago. They are now mature and leafy. I enjoy sitting on the front porch, breathing in the cooler air, and watching the flowers in my garden. They are awakening to answer the call of spring.
Thank you, Teresa, My plum blossoms are not as bountiful as last year. 🙂 We both are trying to get over the cold. I seem to be sick for the whole month.
I wonder why the 14 years. It took 14 years for my camelias to bloom and they finally did this year. It took 14 years for this one flower I have to bloom. 14 years must be a good amount of time to bloom and flourish!!!!beautiful flowers.
Weren’t you recently ill? I can’t remember. If so I hope you are well now
Thank you, Beth! I had a terrible allergic chemical reaction toward medication. It was as bad as the reaction during my chemo. I’m still recovering. Thank you for asking.
I knew it was something just couldn’t remember specifically. I’m so sorry that happened to you. And after all you’ve been through I’m so sorry your body is enduring more suffering!
Wow Miriam :):) God has blessed you with the most beautiful flowers, and trees :):) OH and air, and lungs, and, and, and hehehehe. I thank God for blessing you Miriam:):):) thank you for sharing these lovelies with us :):)
Thank you, Kim, I was going to post a “before” photo of 14 years ago, but I don’t want to confuse the theme of the challenge. My daughter likes my garden, I said I just did something each year, what it is now is the fruit of work done, and I’m enjoying it. Thank you for your comment.
The last I tried to let the seeds or fruits (?) grow, it didn’t work. Maybe we don’t have the climate for them to grow. So I haven’t had raw dates yet.
Oh Finally!
Well we are glad you are now in the beginning of nice weather. Time to get out more often!

Beautiful flowers. They all look so fresh but then I guess that’s what spring is.

Yes, they look the best at this time. In the summer, my roses are dry and smaller.

I’m glad to hear that. My husband heard of the movie Wonder, but it’s not showing in our theater at this time.

I agree with you that it could be the climate and why it isn’t fruiting.

Yes, so we can only get the dry dates from stores.
