I didn’t realize that bats fought like this, Miriam. How very interesting.

I didn’t know either, but the Sanctuary posted a couple photos of the injured bats with the wings punched.

Hi, Miriam! That was such a cute and funny story! How creative you are!
I also the picture poster of the horse with the quote! 🙂
Btw… I have nominated you for the TMI Tag that our Lovely Anita of Discovering Your Happiness created and tagged me in. Please don’t feel obligated to participate, but if you do, please do in your timing. I just wanted to share in a little light hearted fun. Me and God loves you!

Thank you so much, Gail. It’s lovely for your to remember me and nominated me. It always makes me happy to see your cheerful spirit and your love of God. I’ll look at the link tomorrow.
I had a major allergy reaction to the chemical in one of my medications and caused 103.8 fever and rash spreading all over my body. I checked in to the ER and was hospitalized for 3 days. The same reaction I had during chemo and reaction to the drugs.
I’m recovering right now. Praise God!

A batty story of the wild! They are lucky so many humans care about bats and that they made it to the Sanctuary. Hopefully, they are less territorial there.

Yes, they’re lucky. They have to share the territory in the Sanctuary.

Maybe they will learn to be friends.

Yes, I’m glad I found them through you. I downloaded many free books. One administrator has memoir series of 6 books and 2 are prequels. She wrote current years then went back to write younger years. 🙂

I have really enjoyed reading lots of new memoirs and many of them were free. There is so much kindness in the group. 🌼

Interesting, Miriam. I hadn’t thought of bats fighting for mating rights, but why not? I hope they recovered in the Sanctuary and each got to express their rights, eventually.

Yes, in the case of these cave bats, they secure a territory first, then wait for the female bats to come to choose which one to mate.

They were fighting like animals, the uncivilized brutes 🙂

Yes, they were badly injured and had to stay in the Sanctuary for now. 🙂

Animals can show now mercy when vying for their territory!

Yes, we watch nature video very night and watch big animals like elephants, giraffes to little creatures like lizards to fight for their mating rights. They are violent!

We had a couple of wild Tom turkeys get into a battle outside our bedroom window. Competing for the affection of the hen nearby! Quite a spectacle.

Wow, I can imagine that it must be an exciting scene. The birds that come to my garden are already paired up, so I haven’t seen any actual fights yet!
