From Word Press – “Welcome to the final installment of the Weekly Photo Challenge. In wishing you a fond farewell, we wanted to share our all-time favorite photos with you. We welcome you to share your favorites with us. Happy photographic trails!” – Krista Stevens
I want to thank the Word Press staff for years of Daily Challenges. I have enjoyed participating in the challenges and love to do my best to present my posts. This is my second post to the final installment.
I love taking sunset photos for its dramatic colors with the combination of clouds, moist in the air, and reflections in the ocean. The fascination is the colors change so quickly within a matter of minutes. I have taken sunset photos during travels to many countries. Including in this post are photos from July 18, 2017 at La Habra, California; November 23, 2015 at Huntington Beach, California; October 11, 2014 at Maui, Hawaii; and January 10, 2011 at Key West, Florida.
Thank you, Rosy. I love to capture those moments. If I fly during those hours, I usually get a window seat and try to take the photos above the clouds. It may be a cloudy day but it reminds me that the sun is always there.
good choices and your post inspired me to do one. I was going to leave my last week’s post as the final – but now i am joining in – so thanks – maybe it was the sunset – cos a gorgeoussunset can have that imcat on people – ha
No, I’m not leaving the blog. Thank you for your concern. It’s Word Press discontinuing the Photo Challenge and other Daily Prompt. May 31 is their last day of posting prompts. I’m so sad to see them go.
Wow Miriam these are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your expression. Really great.
I’m back from my blogging break 🙂 Good to be home.
Much love to you Miriam. You are a blessing,
Debbie
I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if you were back yet. So glad to hear from you. Hope that you had a relaxing break and came back refreshed. Thank you for reading the final post from the Weekly photo challenge. I’m sad to see the Daily post comes to the end. 🙂
Yes, I agree. The last photo at Key West, I literally chased the sunset because I had to run across the street to find a good angle while the sun went down lower by the seconds. 🙂
Thank you Miriam. I have retired for the evening. Sunday Spotlight was very enjoyable. I will be answering further questions in the morning. Putting my feet up now. 🌼
Thank you Miriam. I found it helpful to add in blog posts and photographs. It would be too much answering questions all the time but it flowed very nicely and I was able to include some long breaks. Tired today but will head off to the beach in a while. My blog posts are scheduled ahead…😊
Thank you, Olga. Key West is at the most southern part of the US. It’s humid and has a lot of moist in the air. The clouds make sunset photos extraordinary. Thank you for your comment. ❤
Beautiful pictures. The sun rises and sets each day but not everyone takes their time to witness this amazing wonder created by god.

I read your answers in two settings. Before and after church. They are all good questions and you did a good job answering them. 🙂

Good for you, Brigid for going to the beach. I lost the schedule feature on my blog. I should ask Word Press. Enjoy your beach visit. 🙂
