Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Columns and Vertical Line(s)
In August 2016, my husband and I traveled to Spain for our 20th Anniversary. We joined a tour to visit Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Valencia and Barcelona. I did several posts about our travel right after we came back. I love the architecture in Spain. For this post, I show several photos of columns and vertical lines.

Church of Santa María la Blanca Toledo, Spain

Catherdral and former Great Mosque of Cordoba, Spain

Cordoba, Spain

Opera House, Madrid, Spain
Lovely pictures, Miriam!

Thank you very much, Teresa. You talked about your book but you also mentioned anthology. Is your book going to be printed alone or as part of an anthology?

Thank you, Amanda. We were lucky that it was a local holiday when we went. They all headed to the beach and the city traffic was light.

Oh nice. More room to look around these sites is always a plus. I know in Canada for-sure, we’re so used to having a larger amount of personal space, even within crowds. I know from friends and relatives in Europe in other countries this isn’t the case. Many people can live in such a small area and also in places with historical significance and beauty. Have a great weekend 🙂

Yes, we have a friend who worked for Disney and was assigned to set up and manage the food in the then new Disney in Hong Kong. They got a pretty good size home when we visit them, but it was tiny compared to their home in the US. They did say that when they’d never want to have huge home anymore after the experience in Hong Kong.
A wonderful weekend to you. 🙂

I can’t imagine the feelings one would get walking into those beautiful buildings!

Yes, Beth, just a sense of awe! They were Muslim buildings, instead of destroy them, the Catholic built the exterior and modified the interior to convert them into Cathedral. I think that was clever, too beautiful to destroy.

Yes, on our Alaska trip, one person on the train said, I just snap and delete some later.
I do the same. 🙂

I snap but often I can’t bring myself to delete unless it is blurred or something 😀

I agree with you, Dahlia. When one photo challenge had Blurry as the prompt. I wish I didn’t deleted all the blurry photos. 🙂

Thank you, Eddaz. I got lost a couple times because I took too long to take photos and the tour group moved on.
