June 14: Flash Fiction Challenge – Bouquet
June 14: Flash Fiction Challenge – In 99 words (no more, no less) write a story that includes a bouquet.
Bouquet Business
“My husband buys me bouquet every week,” Sandy blushed. She forgot who bought up the subject.
“It will get old in no time. Guys buy a bouquet every now and then,” Mr. Cole’s deep voice came from the other side of the room.
“They are still on honeymoon,” Mrs. Cole was embarrassed by her husband.
“Kyle is a devoted customer. He came to my floral shop for a special bouquet five months ago. I praised his affection for Sandy. He has been coming every week.”
“Sorry, I’m not trying to ruin your business,” Mr. Cole whispered to Ms. Laura.

Some guys need encouragement to do certain things especially when it comes to romance. They may not be natural. I guess Kyle like the encouragement to get bouquet for his wife.
Mr. Cole said, “It will get old.” He thinks that Kyle buys bouquet every week won’t last for too long. As it turns out, Laura has been encouraging him to do it and it’s good for her floral business. 🙂

Good one, Miriam. Why shouldn’t a florist promote her own business? My local florist told me that she sells enough flowers on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day to keep her going for the year. How wonderful.

Yes, Mother’s Day is the busiest day in restaurants also. Families are happy and businesses are happy. It’s good all around.
