Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Cooling
My daughter Mercy, her hubby Will took me to Moulton Falls Regional Park, Washington in August 2017, five weeks before Autumn was born.
The 387-acre park is at the East Fork of the Lewis River and Big Tree Creek. It has two waterfalls and an arch bridge. The depths of the river very and have swift currents. It is a perfect place for cooling off to walk in the park or swim in the river.
Wow! Lovely place to cool down. You are having fun. Lovely pictures.

Hi Miriam this is the type of place i would like to be. Still have a bot of adventure in me for the jump. Hope you land in deeper water than in what the lady is standing though!

Hi Abrie, I would dare to jump. My grown-up kids did!

Thank you, Tina. I think I have a lot of practice to teach photos with anticipation. So click just one second before it happens or take the “motion” shots!

Thank you, Amy. My daughter Mercy and Will do that all the time. She was pregnant when photos were taken. Only Will did the jumping. Will also did kayaking running down the fall previously. I only watched the video of him. They are adventuresome bunch! 🙂

It’s wonderful to see the younger generation enjoying all kinds of adventures. 🙂

Yes, they are not typical for their generation. Their circle of friends are into nature, and caring for each other. It’s very unusual. 🙂

A beautiful river bed and a perfect place for cooling off. Though I always find it a bit dangerous to jump into unknown waters – I prefer to walk in, so that third shot looks safe enough for me!

Yes, I know, thank you, Ann Christine. These big “kids” have come here many times. The river bed has a little shallow area, then a big drop. I guess they know the spots!

Thank you, Norah. I like the arch bridge. Mercy was 9-month pregnant so we didn’t go hiking.

How exciting to have such a memory of your little one’s progress.

Yes, Norah, Mercy must have taken thousands of photos and have a Tinybeans website account and a Baby album to keep track of Autumn’s progress. I wish I could have done half on her when she was a baby.
