A few months ago, we had a pleasant walk in the Huntington Library. I post some photos in the previous post here and here. For Frank’s challenge, I include the photos with rows of statutes, rows of columns and rows of bamboos.
It has a long history. I’ll find my other post and give you the link that explains why it’s called library. Basically the original owner was a rare books collector. He collected some ancient, hand written books.
Yes, thank you, Amy, the Chinese Garden was open not not ago and still working in some area. Our last visit was during the whole construction. I’m glad it’s open. 🙂
Yes, I lived by there 35 years ago, There was no admission fee. Some students used to go in to sit and read or do their assignments. It’s a popular place now. ❤
Wow! How wonderful! When I was a student at Biola, (34-37 years ago) I visited there fairly regularly. I wonder if we were ever there at the same time? 🙂 ❤ ❤
Amen-Amein Sister in Christ Jesus-Yeshua Miriam!! I love those pictures above!!

These are grounds found at a library?!!! Wow! So extensive and beautifully landscaped.
