The melancholy
blood dripping of a torn heart
Carved in memory
gift of the angelic child
terra firma she departs

When I first listened to this music, I felt hearing someone crying. Studying the background confirmed that the sounds were the composer’s cry.
The Concierto de Aranjuez composed by Joaquin Rodrigo was inspired by the gardens at Palacio Real de Aranjuez. The composer attempts to transport the listeners to another place and time through the sounds of nature.
Rodrigo and his wife Victoria stayed silent about the real inspiration of the music. Victoria eventually revealed it was a response to Rodrigo’s devastation and grief at the miscarriage of their first child. The music was composed in 1939 in Paris.
Everything comes together to make the night, the most pleasant. Listening to the concert of an eximio guitarist, is the best. Your verses are fabulous. Greetings.
