Thank you, Vashti. It’s under the theme Songs of Marriage. I need to make a post of the themes in my book. There are nine theme, all of them are poetic memoir writing. ❤ 🙂
Good question. My first book, “The Basement” was with a publisher and the publisher determined the price. I hated that. But now I self publish so I decide how much to sell the book for. Did you publish this book yourself?
Yes, I did everything by transferring from Create Space to KDP, got an ISBN for the paperback, Kindle doesn’t need one. I had readers read the manuscript and an editor did the editing – I belong to 3 groups – creative writing, poetry, publishing, got people’s help along the way. I created the book cover, formatted the book with Kindle Create, then upload to KDP many times for further editing. The paperback and Kindle have different ways of formatting. I hyperlinked each poem to the Table of Content for Kindle, no need to do that for paperback.
Whew!! A lot of work, but I know what to do next time. ❤ xox
Thank you so much, Debby! I uploaded the paperback book to Amazon, got the proofread copies and did some final adjustment on the cover. Redid the whole formatting for Kindle – nobody told me that, but it’s okay! I’m ready to take a break after this!! ❤ ❤
I had Kindle Create and Amazon open, upload, make corrections tons of time. They both are published and waiting to be available. Thank you for cheering. Big hugs xox ❤
Beautiful poem, Miriam! And it is so often true that storms bring two people ~ or just people in general ~ closer together. I can’t help thinking of our recent hurricane, Michael, and how it so essentially has driven folks together. Thank you for the lovely image you present here, and blessings to you! 🙂
Thank you, Jonathan. It’s one of the poems in my book. I’m so busy doing the final formatting of the eBook. I saw some of your posts, will visit your blog soon. 🙂
Anything is better when our special person is with us. (I was going to ask if this poem was from your book. I see you answered that question already. :))
Beautiful poem from your collection, Miriam… ❤

Will do so this weekend and will post a review on Goodreads (Be sure to list your book there) too! 🙂 xo

Does it go on Amazon also? I think the people who promote my book look for reviews from Amazon first! I’ll list my book there. Thank you. 🙂 xox

Yes, I made the announcement. I got one other seller listed my book higher than my Amazon price. How do they decide that? ❤ xox

Good for you! And no kidding! Formatting can be a hair tearing experience. One I’d rather pay someone to do LOL 🙂 ❤

My husband kept saying that and I almost did a few days ago. Then something started working. I’ll see how it goes today. Thank you so much, Debby. ❤ ❤
