Lens-Artists Photo Challenge – Blending in or Standing out
Anne-Christine has a great theme for this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge – Blending in or Standing out.
We went to China for a eight-member family vacation. We had our private van with a private driver. The itinerary included Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin and Hong Kong. The first city tour was Beijing. Great Wall is surely standing out with the length of 13,170 miles (21,196 kilometers). It can be seen from outer space and the moon.
Our group was not large and could get lost as we blended in with many big tour groups. The tour guides had their members wear pins, stickers or tags to distinguish them from other group members.

Thank you, Amy. We haven’t gone back for 5 years. We’re going to Hong Kong for 8 days for my nephew’s wedding, then go to Japan for 4 days – in January 2019. 🙂

Yes, Anne-Christine. We only went on the section easier to walk, but my daughter and her husband went on the steep section where they couldn’t stand up straight!

It really is steeper than you think from just looking at it from a distance, isn’t it?

Yes, Anne-Christine. They took photos of their climbing and looked like climbing a ladder!
