Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #26: Photographic Review of 2018
Ann-Christine has a wonderful theme last Saturday to do a 2018 Photographic Review. It’s a perfect opportunity to review all the wonderful things happened last year.
January – I started off the New Year by attending a Women’s retreat to reflect and refocus.
February – Spending Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year with Mercy, Will and Autumn in Portland, Oregon, we went hiking in Silver Falls.
March – March flowers in my garden.
April – Lynton and I took a local trip to The Huntington – Library, Art Collection and Botanical Garden.
May – Celebrating Mother’s Day in Portland with Mercy, we went to Rhododendron Garden.
May – Lynton and I took a trip to Alaska and toured Denali Park.
June – Baby Hummingbird was born in my backyard
July – Visited Autumn and her mommy and daddy, had a nice outing at Battle Ground Park.
August – A bridal shower for a friend’s daughter-in-law to be.
September –Autumn’s one-year birthday on September 28th.
September – A weekend getaway in Las Vegas.
October – My book was published in October.
November – Family gathering for Thanksgiving.
December – My annual Messiah performance.

I loved seeing all of your beautiful photos. You have a beautiful family! I have been to Silver Falls once when visiting my wife’s brother and wife in Salem. Loved the singing of the Messiah shot. It has been over fifty years since I sang in the Messiah in college!

The first time I sang Messiah was 40 years ago. I love singing it. After the performance, I almost want to go to the sing-along to sing some more.

The piece – The Trumpet Shall Sound made me cry. When the singing was over, I thank the person who played trumpet and said I felt like in heaven.
