Visit the Beach – A Poem
Visit the Beach
It is therapeutic to visit the beach
Toes in the sand, Ears to the waves
Eyes gaze at the horizon
Breathe in the fresh sea air
~
Power of salty air heals the lungs
Clears out the unwanted junks
Improves the respiratory system
Helps absorb oxygen, balance serotonin
~
I so enjoy walking on the beach
It’s therapeutic to mind and soul
Chores left at home far behind
Enjoy the presence of tide low or high
~
So beautiful. The beach is so soothing. I could feel it all through your words.

Yes, Diana. The weather is temperamental still. The photo is Huntington Beach. One of our favorite beaches for half day trips. 🙂

Beaches are relaxing and therapeutic. Just riding along the shore is helpful as well. 🙂

That’s a good thing. Kids grow up fast. If we don’t “invest” in them, we’ll never be able to go back. family goes first. That’s reason my granddaughter comes first because my blogging. 🙂

Thank you Debbie. It’s been too hot. I wish I could go to the beach, but I may get a heat rash with my post-chemo condition. Have a nice weekend! Miriam

Sometimes it takes an effort. We live half an hour drive from beaches. If we goes, we want to hang out and have dinner before heading home. So we have to plan for at least a half day trip. You may want to plan for one before winter gets here!

Adding that idea, I would definitely love to see the outdoors again – the beaches in particular. Thank you!

That’s perfect. You can use your own photos to go with your writing. I try to find my photo archives before using public images.
