No, I didn’t do anything. I posted on a service agency that provides translation services. The translators who are interested in my book do the translation and share a larger portion of the rayalty and the service agency gets a small portion and I get a small portion.

Still, hope it goes well for them! And it’s an exciting development.

Some of them take on the translation and hopefully their translation takes off and some books have good sales.
I still think you should post If Only I Had No Heart on Amazon.

Haha – I don’t think I could. Even though I wrote the whole thing, some of the world ideas are based on a D&D campaign I played. That means other people were involved in aspects of its creation, so I don’t think I could sell it without their permission. But “American Chimera” has a good chance of going on Amazon after I get through the post schedule.

I read it in one sitting! Beautiful poems and the organization of it was fluid in learning more about you and your thoughts about life at different life stages. Your contemplation and observation of nature are delightful, like the hummingbird and spider.
My favorite lighthearted poems are “Champion” and “Zing.” Boy, do I relate to that turtle in the poem! I also like the “The Furnace,” “Unravel,” (“art of the heart”) and “Consideration.”
I’m so glad I got your book and that I can share my thoughts with you here!!

Wow, this is wonderful. I didn’t expect you to read it in one setting. I’m glad you found some lighthearted poems.
It was good for me to write some of the sad ones. Now I don’t feel sad anymore. It’s heart for me to remember how sad I was anymore.
If you don’t mind, when you have time, do you think you could write a review on Amazon? You just go to Amazon, click on your name and click your order. Next to the book you order, there’s a link that take you to writing a review. You just write what the book is about, what you think about it and your favorite poems just like what you shared with me.
You don’t have to do that. It would be a favor for me, but don’t worry if you don’t do it.
Thank you for getting the book and read it. I’ll order a color copy for my daughter.

It was a great read!! Sure, I would be happy to write an Amazon review for you. I’ll get to it in the next couple of days. 🙂
I hope you have a great weekend and stay well.

I’m glad you would do that. That’s great. I’m taking it easy this weekend. I ordered some Milkweed seeds, may plant them in the little pots tomorrow.
Have a nice weekend with you boy and your family. 🤗

Hi Miriam! I just submitted an Amazon review. It said that it will take a couple of days to process, so I think you’ll see it next week or so.
I hope you are doing well and having a good first week of summer.

Thank you so much for doing the review and submitted to Amazon. I really appreciate it. We got together with my husband’s siblings last Sunday. We wore masks, kept distancing, and ate the food we brought. It’s not normal, but it was good to see them. We may do it again. Hope it’s okay in your area. I hope you’ll have a good week also. I’ll check Amazon in a couple of days. 😊

Sorry it took me a while to get the review submitted, but it was my pleasure to do so!!
The current situation is abnormal with all the mask wearing and social distancing. I wonder if we’ll ever get back to how it was before this COVID. Life is full of surprises!
Glad to hear you had a nice time with family! Hope you and your family are staying well and safe, especially your grandbabies!
NorCal is easing up restrictions which spiked new number of cases. Still got to take precautions…new reality to get used to.

Thank you, Esther. I checked right away and the review was there. You did a great job writing the review. I sometimes review things I bought for my granddaughter.
We have many restaurants and stores open now. But I’m not going to the restaurants yet, still trying to be cautious. I want to stay healthy so when the time comes, I could fly to Oregon to visit my granddaughters and see the younger one the first time.

Great! I’m glad you like the review. It came in faster than what the automated message replied.
I read reviews all the time to make a purchase, but I’m awful at writing them. Later becomes never. yikes.
Please stay healthy and well, so when travel is safer you can visit your family and meet your new granddaughter! But the news is reporting a rise in COVID cases in the past few days. To get through this, we must not get into pre-pandemic thinking yet.
Take care and talk to you soon!

Amazon is unpredictable. Sometimes I submitted a review and took several days to post, and sometimes it posted right away. When I write reviews, I also have them posted on my blog but I usually wait for Amazon before I post them on my blog. I do that as a way to help promote other authors’ books.

I think that’s a great idea to promote and support other author’s books! Help each other.
Amazon is my go-to these days. Since stores are closed, it’s easy to get what you need there. But must be careful before you press Place Order. Make sure it’s not impulsive or emotional shopping. lol

I know what you mean. I usually put the items in the cart for a few days, think about it to see if I really need them. There are 4 items in my cart right now.

It must be a common thing people do while shopping on Amazon! I also put them in the cart and save for later; this way I don’t have to look for it again.

Exactly, I look for all kinds of things and put them in the cart. I can always remove them later.

Love the “save for later” feature.

Yes, at least it give me time to think about how much money I want to spend and whether I really need those things.

I agree. It helps with the impulsive shopping. lol

Haha, that’s right. My items are still in the cart. They’re a couple paperback and I have too many books, so I’m still thinking whether get them or the eBook.

I have too many books too! But it’s so hard to curate them when you’re a book lover.
I’m voting for actual paper copies instead of eBooks. 🙂 There’s nothing like holding a book and turning the pages.
I make marks in it and all that good stuff. It drives my kids crazy; they want their books unruffled. That drives me crazy!
