Happy Easter to You
Happy Easter to you!

Did you have an Easter egg hunt this morning with your kids or grandkids?
Last year Autumn dyed the eggs with the help of her dad. On Easter Sunday, she had an Easter egg hunt outside of the house. My daughter, Mercy did a good job hiding the eggs, but Autumn found all the eggs.
When Mercy was a kid, I put messages in the plastic eggs and hid them inside and outside of the house. I helped her find the first egg. She read the age-appropriate math problem, solved it, and read the message that led her to the next egg until she found all the eggs. She looked forward to the Easter egg hunt for many years.
When I sang in the choir, the church used to have four Easter Sunday services with the first service starting at 6:30 a.m. The following recording was from 2015.

I hope you had a nice Easter, Miriam. I had a great one and will be posting about it on Friday with my positivity Wave. Great choice of song to listen to, it is one of my favourites.

Thank you, Miriam. I hope you and your family had a happy Easter too. I always enjoyed making Easter egg hunts for the children.

I wish to have Easter egg hunts with my grandkids, but Nora’s birthday is at the end of March, it’s too close to go again in a couple of weeks. I just heard someone made a Easter egg hunt for the neighbor kids.

Hunts are good at any time of the year, Miriam. We don’t have to restrict them to Easter, or birthdays. I used to do hunts for my children’s birthdays too – not every year, but sometimes. We used to do treasure hunts at other times. They enjoyed working out the clues.

Easter is always better when children are near. Hope the next year allows you to spend more time with your grandkids, Miriam, and that you can return to singing with your choir.

Happy Easter to you, Dan! Oh, I want to ask you a question about posting a blurb or author bio on Amazon central. What do I do to make sure the paragraphs don’t run together. Right now for a new book, I entered the blurb and press return to leave space between paragraphs then saved. But it didn’t get saved. I read about what to do but I forgot.

I haven’t done it (yet) but, since the blurb will be read in a browser, I would think you could use two HTML breaks. I know these basic HTML tags work in my blog titles. The break is so insert this where you want a blank line.
“”
Of course, I’m hoping that forcing render as a break here. If it does, type the following without the letters eak

I’ll try that. Thank you, Dan. I don’t know how to do HTML.

OK, the break markup actually caused the line breaks here. The letters “br” are enclosed in the angled brackets These are also symbols (math) for less than and greater than LT GT – So, do the substitution LT br GT to get the break tag (and add two)

Also, run the four characters together.

Thank you for sharing a lovely, cheerful Easter post, Miriam. Autumn is beyond adorable. Wonderful how you have a recording from 2015. I can feel the loving energy from the choir, band and the entire congregation. Thank you for sharing a feel good post. Happy Easter to you and your loved ones. ❤️

Thank you for reading and comment, Erica. I’m glad we have a recording in 2015. It was the last Easter Sunday the choir sang. We no longer have a choir and the praise band took over. It happens to 95% of the churches. The older generation just has to go with the flow. ❤

Happy Easter Miriam, it must have been great fun singing in your choir and that is such a joyful hymn. A week to go till my daughter and family can come and visit; I still have my. Christmas tree in the front garden, I have tied a ribbon on every day of lockdown. I did an Easter egg treasure hunt in the front and back gardens for the children next door – I gave them a sheet of clues!

Happy Easter to you, Janet! It’s so good to hear your daughter and family are coming in a week to visit. I know it has been a long long time for families not to see each other. Do you have grandkids? Your daughter will cry when she sees the ribbons on the Christmas tree! I’m touched by hearing about it. Your neighbor’s children must have had a blast doing the Easter egg hunt. What a wonderful idea to give them a sheet of clues. I’ll share that with my daughter!

Yes I have two pairs of grandchildren – we do Lego Facetime with my daughter’s two little boys every week – I have quite a collection of Lego now and write them a story and take photos that my daughter prints out and reads to them!

Thank you for sharing one of my favorite hymns, Miriam. It always reminds me of my grandmother. Wishing you and your family a lovely Easter. xo

It was my favorite hymn also, Jill. I’m afraid it will be lost with churches prefer praise team singing contemporary songs!

No worries, Jacqui! I was in an in-service once when the teachers read an article with some words missing, and misspelling, etc. We could read it and understood it perfectly. My daughter taught me how to swipe the words in the direction of the spelling on the phone instead of typing them. It saves me so much time. She and I understood each other with typos.

Wait–what? Swipe? What the heck is that?

Okay, on your phone, just touch the letters of the spelling and swipe (don’t let go of your finger) in the direction of the spelling of the words. Most of the time, the spelling is correct, or it will show the suggestions. I’m getting very good and fast to a point that I don’t have patient in typing (that’s bad). Try to do it slowly first. You’ll love it. 💞🥳
