Tina Lost in a Crowd by Miriam Hurdle: A Children’s Book.
I’m over at Claire Fullerton’s blog. She is featuring Tina Lost in a Crowd with her delightful and insightful review. She also included Carla’s review from Carla Loves to Read. Please head over to visit her. While there, browse around to learn more about her many awarding-winning books.

Book Description:
Tina invited her friend Erica to attend a popular Tchaikovsky’s Spectacular concert on a summer evening with her parents. During the intermission, her dad left the seat to buy some snacks. Tina and Erica followed him wanting to use the restroom. The shoving crowd pushed them away, and they lost sight of him. It would be impossible to fight through the 18,000 people to find him or go back to Tina’s mom. This story tells about what happened to Tina and Erica after they got lost. Children can adapt to the learning from different situations they may observe or encounter. Adults could have discussions with the children about the situations to help them develop problem-solving skills.
My review of this delightful children’s book:
Third grader, Tina Tyler, looks forward to summer. It is the last day of classes, and she has had such a great school year that…

My brother and other sister live in California but they are constantly angry with me so we don’t get together. Sigh.

That happens and it’s sad. Why are they angry with you? I have six survived siblings (a long story), one died of congested heart failure at the end of 2019. The one in LA is still in denial after her husband died of live cancer 10 years ago. We hardly talk.

Long story here, too. Family issues. It is so bad, my sister’s son died and she wouldn’t allow me to attend the funeral. How angry can someone be to do that! Sigh. I’m over it.

When my brother-in-law passed away. My sister’s good friend kept saying to her that she was strong. So she never showed any sadness or talked about that to anyone including me. When I asked how she was doing, she always said ‘fine.’
She only joined family event when she had ‘good’ thing going, such as having a ‘boyfriend.’ We have a group WhatsApp for the family. She only posts gif for special occasions without adding a word.
If she goes to therapy, it would take many years for her to work on things and open up. No luck for me to get her to talk about anything.
At least we say ‘hi’ to each other.

My childhood friend who lives in London just started to write me the grief and pain her late husband’s family has inflicted upon her in the last 10 years after her husband died of skiing accident. I’m so sad for her. What I have is nothing compared to hers.
