Weekly Photo Challenge – Bridge Connection
I came to Portland, Oregon as a student forty years ago. At that time, there were nine bridges in the Willamette Valley. I had to remember which bridge to take from Milwaukie to downtown Portland, or which bridge to take to get on Interstate 5 to go to Seattle, Washington. Forty years later, there is one new bridge that makes ten bridges in Portland, Oregon. In this post, I include one bridge from Portland. Other bridges are from our travel.

The St. Johns Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, USA. I took this photo from Cathedral Park in the St. Johns neighborhood.

The Sydney Harbor Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbor, Australia. My husband and I joined a tour to climb to the top of the Bridge.

London Bridge, London crosses over River Thames in central London. We only had photos taken by the bridge.

This Bamboo Bridge is in Lan Tau Island, Hong Kong. It needed attention and concentration to walk across this bridge.

This Suspension Bridge is in Shenzhen, China. My family and I only walked to the middle of the bridge to have photos taken.
