The Showers of Blessings

These are several photos from our trip to China. We went to Beijing to visit the Great Wall. The tour guide took us to one entrance where we could have options of going on the steep section or flatter section. My daughter and her husband went to the steep section where they had to climb. My husband, his sister and her husband, my son-in-law’s mom and I took the flatter section. Well, there were some steps also, but at least didn’t have to climb.

Cee’s Which Way Challenge – Ski Jump Stadium – Innsbruck, Austria

This is the Ski Jump Stadium for Winter Olympics 1964, 1976, and Youth Olympics 2012, in Innsbruck, Austria. During the winter Olympics, the landing slope is covered with snow.

Looking up to the top of the ski jump from the stadium.

There is staircase to go to the top where the skiers jump. I took the staircase to go up.

From the top of the ski jump area, we can look across and see the majestic mountain range in Austria.

This was our trip to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Just follow the sign.

There was warning sign along the trail.

Many hiking trails like this one to hike down to the river.

There are also staircases to walk down to the river and walk up. I chose to take the staircase. Here I was, in the yellow shirt.

Cee’s Which Way Challenge – November 16, 2016 – Mosque, Cordoba Spain

We went to Spain in the summer this year. We were told that it would be hot. Not until we got there, did we realize what it meant. It happened that there was a local holiday. So the people were off from work and most of them headed to the beach. The tour guides loved it because the traffic was a lot lighter.

For today’s WWC, I selected several photos taken from the Great Mosque, Cordoba which was 1.5 hour drive from Seville, Spain. The photos are both indoor and outdoor. The architecture inside of the Great Mosque was quite a sight. I took some photos of the hallways and ceiling.

After the tour, it was coffee break and souvenir shopping time.

We past by a Roman Bridge before getting on the bus to go back to Seville.
