This week the theme for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge is Reflection, from Patti Moed.
The photos I selected for this post are reflections of water I admired during different trips near and far.
This is Puente de Alcántara Bridge over the calm river, Toledo Spain.
Daily Prompt: Ancient
We had a chance to go on a family vacation a few years ago, the seven of us. We went to China on a private tour with our own tour guide and transportation. Here is the highlight of a few ancient places we had visited.
The first location is the Great Wall in China. We went on the section of Great Wall in Beijing. The Great Wall is 2,300 years old. The official length is 21,196.18 km (13,170.7 mi).
The second location is the Terracotta Warriors. This is the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary, buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC, with the purpose to protect the emperor in his afterlife.
The third location is cruising along the Lee River in Guilin which is famous in its spiky mountains.
We visited many places and had a wonderful family vacation!
